Goddess Meenakshi is believed to be the daughter of King Malayadwaja Pandiyan and Queen Kanchanamala of Madurai. The couple, who initially had no children, received her as a divine blessing after fervent prayers. Originally named "Tataakai," she came to be known as the exquisite Goddess Meenakshi, renowned for her fish-like eyes. Meenakshi is revered as the consort of Lord Shiva, and her wedding with him, along with her brother Lord Vishnu, is celebrated grandly in Madurai.

This auspicious wooden panel, crafted from durable country wood vaagai and adorned with vibrant multicolored finishing, features Lord Ganesh alongside Goddess Lakshmi, Naratha Muni, Nandhikeshwar, and Saraswathi, framed within a Yaazhi motif, imparting a temple-like ambiance to any space.
